To mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, staff and children had a time of reflection during assembly when Finn, one of our Year 6 pupils, read the poem for schools ‘D-Day Heroes’ by Roy Palmer.
Finn later attended the evening event in Wingrave village with Toby, Arnav and Leo who are pictured with the special beacon that was lit during celebrations.
