On Friday 8th November, our Junior classes marked Remembrance by visiting the Wingrave Memorial. We reflected on conflicts in history and those taking place around the world now. Rev Dom joined us and lead us in prayer for those who have lost someone, and those who are abroad in the armed forces.
On Sunday 10th November, Alfie, Izzy and Ellie (Year 6) represented the school at the Remembrance Service in Wingrave, presenting and laying our school wreath at the memorial. Meanwhile in Wing, Freddie (Year 6) proudly carried his Cub Scout Standard for 1st Wing Scouts in the Wing procession and parade service.
On Monday 11th November, the whole school and preschool gathered in our courtyard to mark the two minute silence at 11am. We will remember.
